The catcher in the rye

The book is done and it was an amazing book i think. the question today is "why do we call that book as "The Catcher in th rye"? i think it's because of Houlden's caractery. Houlden doesn't know what he wants to do in his life. Houlden shows a personality that doesn't belong with him but he wants to be popular and poeple think that he's cool. But Houlden is not that bad, i mean yes he smoke and stoff but Houlden cares so much about poeple and especialy with childrens because when he's with his sister he cares a lot about what she thinks about him and he doesn't wants her to be scared for him or disapointed. A next  moment is at school when he sees the F word on the whole and he gets mad because it's not good for childrens to say that because they don't know the signification of it. But the best moment is when he's watching the kids running and their parents don't pay attention of them. it's at this time that Houlden ears the poem "the catcher in the rye" and that he want to be one. I think Houlden is tired to always be in trouble and wants to be a good persone so it's for that that he want to do that because he could be a realy good persone and make poeple proud of him.
